How do you get fingerprints off of pictures?

It keeps them from looking good.

There is a cleaner called fibre clean that is designed for this purpose. Another good item for cleaning photographs is plain CD cleaning cloths, just remember to wipe gently. You could also try a mixture of half water, half vinegar. Always try your product in a small corner of the photo before wiping across your whole picture.

I have heard that a cotton ball soaked in a denatured alcohol will work very well. Others suggests Residual Oil Remover, while others prefer Ronson oil, the ones you use in your lighter or better known as lighter fluid.

Put a cotton glove or cotton sock on your hand. GENTLY rub the are on the photo where the fingerprint is. Should come right of without damaging the photo.
