How do you get your psychiatric medical records closed?

Your records are private. unless you signed a release at a doctor's office, for insurance purposes, etc. In that case, you probably will need to go to court.

Psychiatric medical records are private and as such cannot be given to anyone, outside those physicians caring for you, without your permission.

I think it is pretty much like legal records, as well. You need to address a medical commitee that will judge your mental status and decide what to do.

Well, it is very difficult to get them closed. Talk to your clinic separately and request that your files be transferred to you. You may need some legal permission to request your files out.

You never get your psychiatric records closed, but they are protected. Nobody is allowed to see phychiatric medical records without your permission due to hippa laws. You can also instucted the office that has your records to not release them to anyone for any reason.
