How do you go about reducing stress in the workplace?

My employees tell me there is too much stress.

Try to incorporate some sense of fun in the workplace. If it's a call center, like my old job was, hit around beach balls while sitting at your desk. If that's not a viable option, see if there's enough money in the budget for a massage company to come in. A five minute massage can go a long way.

You should have friendly conversations with your employees so they look at you as not just their boss but as somewhat of a friend and not get upset over small mistakes so they are not under a lot of stress if they make them or worried about making them all the time.

The first thing i would do to reduce stress is ensure there is open communications. People who feel they have an avenue for communication generally feel better. Also, do what you can to minimize and streamline the workloads.

You can reduce stress by listening to your employees and making them feel that they are valued on the job.
