How do you grow a goatee and mustache?

I need grooming tips for the time it takes to grow out.

Much of hair growth is dictated by genetics; if facial hair is prominent in your family, then you can be assured that it will grow without much effort on your part. For those that don't have this convenience, shaving the area desired for hair growth is a good start, along with taking vitamin supplements as an aid.

Actually this is quite hard. Depending on the sort of facial hair you have, some men have facial hair that after so long just stop. But generally you want to grow your hair and keep shaving around the area you want the goatee or mustache. Always trim these areas as to promote more hair growth.

it is entirely dependent on how fast your own facial hair tends to grow. In general you'll see a moustache come in pretty well within 7-11 days, and a goatee will tend to take somewhat longer- in the general scheme of things. Just in either way keep it trimmed for the optimal appearance.

When I grew a mustache, which I had for 10 years, you just don't shave that area. Then when it starts growing you start trimming the long hairs.
