You have to find out the roof lengths and find a set of tiles that will fit evenly across the width without having to cut them. Then you look the order number up and have them shipped.

Buy precut starter strips and install at roofs edge. Starting at the lower left corner nail down you shingles using the proper sized roofing nails. This first row should be 1/8 inch over the roofs edge. Continue installing the shingles going right and upward. Architectural shingles should be staggered as you install them so to do gaps overlap.

They install like any other shingle. Start at the bottom edge of the roof and work your way toward the peak overlapping as you go.

Lay a starter strip. The first shingle needs an 1/8" overhang. Lay them from bottom left to right. Each row should overlap. Call a professional if it proves too difficult.
