Power down your computer and open the case. Find an empty slot on the motherboard. Press firmly the RAM unit inside the slot until you hear a clicking sound.
This is dependant on what you're installing the RAM into. Is it a desktop or a laptop? What brand is it? In short, RAM goes into slots on the motherboard inside of your laptop or desktop.
