How do you look up your family history?

Isn't there a place you can go to do it?

The Church of Latter Day Saints is the best source for genealogical data collected by a non-commercial source. They have a religious duty to build up accurate records for their own purposes-- they are a great place to begin. Check for local hobby groups in your area-- they typically meet in the local library.

There are companies specialized in this all over the Internet. However, you could also research your genealogical tree yourself by asking your relatives and visiting villages where your ancestor lived to gather information and read the archives.
