One way to make money as an artist is to start out by putting your art out in the public eye where it can be seen in as many places as possible, to begin to make a name for yourself. Such as banks, restaurants, town art exhibits, festivals and soon you will catch the eye of possible purchasers.

You don't need an agent as long as you can network. Your artwork can be displayed in local shops and you'd split profits with the owner.
