If the plastic isn't painted or coated and the scratch isn't too deep then it might be possible to repair it. Taking extremely fine grit sand paper you can gentle sand then buff scratches out. Keep in mind though i only recommend this for opaque, non-painted plastic with cosmetic scratches only.

To remove the scratch you basically have to fill in the scratch mark. Waxes and polishes can help do the trick. Dusting sprays also can bind themselves to fill in the gap.

Light scratches be removed with plastic polishing compound and a buffer. You can polish it by hand but it takes longer. Polish it according to the directions on the bottle.

If the scratches are superficial, you can try polishing them out. There are special compounds to do that, but a single scratch can be tried with a little toothpaste on a cloth, or brass polish.

Plastic scratches are easily removed with heat . Depending on the object there are techniques that involve rubbing with a hot cloth. Some items can benefit from slowing heating a small spoon and buffing slowly.
