On the Razor, go to the main menu and find Phone Settings. On this there will be a Sounds/Alerts menu. Here you can set most options like ringtones and message alerts, vibration alerts etc. This is how it is my Motorola phone - it's not a Razor though.

The Bluetooth for V3m can only connect to a headset. IT enable bluetooth file transfer, but ONLY through the Motorola Phone tools software. There is sofware which can be bought to enable mp3 file transfer on the v3m. It actually installs drivers so that you can load up MP3 files.

Pretty simple - use your menu options and go to the particular sound file that you wanna set as your ringtone. On this file see "Options". One of the options will be "Set as Ringtone". Scroll to this and hit OK to set it.

make sure your mp3 is in your phone memory and not in your card memory as only files on your phone can be used as ringtones. It took me a crazy 3 days to figure this out!!  add a comment

Where are your sound files. If you have Razor from verizon there are a lot of options disabled by default on the phone (including some bluetooth and sound options). You cannot apparently transfer sound files via the USB cable. Is this your problem?

You will need to go into the phone's "menu" go to the subheading "settings" and then "ringtones". Pick out the ringtone you want by listening to a sample of each then hit "apply".

There are several different web sites that allow you to download and email any ringtone to a cell phone or you can download them direct from the service provider.
