How do you wake yourself up?

I have a hard time waking up. Got any tips?

I find that it can help to think about what time I want to wake up the next day before I go to sleep. Your internal clock can be surprisingly accurate. You probably aren't going to bed early enough. Go to bed when you are sleepy and get up at the same time every day - that sonsistency should help.

If you have trouble waking in the morning, try setting the alarm in a place that you have to get up to turn it off. You will be more likely to stay up if you have already gotten out of bed. Also, try being more active in the morning, like walking, jogging, or yoga to help stimulate teh body.

First, address sleep hygiene and be sure you are not sleep deprived. Try placing an alarm clock where you must get out of bed to turn it off.

I have found that if I put my alarm clock or phone, which ever you use across the room it makes me have to get up!
