Fan blades take in air that is then put through a series of blades that raises the air's pressure. The high pressure air is then injected with fuel that is ignited electrically and the burning gases then turn a turbine creating thrust. All those blades turn on a shaft.

A Jet engine works by providing thrust to move the jet through the sky. The jet is an internal combustion engine.
