If you eat locally made honey, you will be building amunitites against local pollen. So local honey will help you with allergies triggered by the pollen you encounter outside, especially triggered during certain seasonal times of the year. People with alot of hayfeavers running around sneezing and with headaches would benefit from localy honey. They would build up antibodies.
