How many stars are there in outer space?

+7

The numerical answer which makes the most sense would be "infinite" or innumerable." Even if the Universe had a boundary or a limit, there are more stars than could counted.

The Universe is constantly expanding, so does the number of the stars, therefore you can safely state that there are "infinite" stars in the Universe. Even though you knew the exact number of the stars in the Universe, it would be impossible to imagine it.

Depending on your theory of outer space your question has infinite answers. If you believe that space is infinte than your answer would be infinity. The real answer is 'no one really knows'. Outer space is so big that people can only guess based on what they believe and percive.
