How much should I pay for a Monte Carlo?

It's a 1972 model that doesn't run.

That really depends on the condition of the rest of the vehicle. When fixed up they can be anywhere form 8,000-13,000. To replace EVERYTHING would cost about $35,000.

A Monte Carlo that does not run will not go for very much money. If the body and parts that come with it are in good condition then I would pay around $10,000. If the body is in bad condition I would pay around $5,000.

There's a big difference in classic vehicle prices. "Doesn't run but, it's a beautifully restored rolling chassis" is vastly different from "Doesn't run and I found in some guy's field sitting on blocks." A descent Monte that doesn't run could cost anywhere from $400-$1000.

A 1972 Monte Carlo averages around $4,500 in good condition. Consider how much it will cost to fix it on top of the purchase price.
