How old should people be when they get baptized?

It seems to me that babies can't make a decision this important. Do you know what I mean?

Some churches set the age of baptism at the age of decision making. This can be around age 7, when someone can understand right from wrong, like with Catholic communion. It may be at an age of adulthood, like the Mormons and Anabaptists, who require late teens or older.

This is a matter for debate, and the correct answer depends on which religion one belongs to. Catholics, for example, think it is important for a baby to be baptized when still an infant, less they not be relieved of Original Sin by Sacrement as early as possible.
