I like "Popeye". Who is the creator?

Depends on which creator you are talking about. If you are talking about the original creator that did the comic strips, then it would be Elzie Segar. If you are talking about the cartoon adaptation, then you are thinking of Max and Dave Fleischer. The cartoons started in 1933, with the first being "Popeye the Sailor. "

Popeye was created by Elzie C. Segar, as a supporting character in his comic strip Thimble Theatre, in 1929. In his classic first appearance, Castor Oyl (brother of Olive) asks him, "Are you a sailor? ", o which the obviously dressed Popeye replies, "Ja think I'm a cowboy? " Soon, Popeye took over the strip.

Popeye was created by cartoonist Elzie Segar and debuted in 1929. Segar died in 1938 but his beloved character Popeye, is still drawn by other artists to this day.
