Check wich version of Outlook you still have. Microsoft Windows has Outlook Express by default, and when you install Microsoft Office you also get Microsoft Outlook. These are two different programs and you need to remove them separately. Also check if you have any new software like Windows Live Mail, it is the new version of Outlook Express.

You may have only removed the icon from your desktop. To remove it completely, go to your Control Panel in Windows and go to the "Remove Programs" option, from here select Outlook and it will be gone.

Assuming you have removed Outlook using the Add/Remove program tool. You may have removed the program but the icon still remains, simply delete the icon from your desktop.

Did you go into your Control Panel, add and remove programs, and select Outlook? If you deleted the icon on your desktop, that doesn't remove the program from your OS.

You probably did not uninstall it correctly. To uninstall it correctly, make sure you delete it from the control panel option on your computer. Right click the option and it will ask to delete. It will remove all traces of outlook on your computer and plus it will do it correctly.
