Yes, a bird that lost its tail feathers will regrow them. Until the feathers regrow the bird may be clumsy, so be careful. Also, the shafts of some feathers have blood vessels, if any feathers are partially broken off and bleeding this is dangerous. If this happens pull out the shaft or apply cornstarch or flour to help it clot.

Tail feathers on birds do generally grow back if they pull them out. Our African Grey pulls his out when he is stressed or if we go away for a week or two, but within a month or two he has a new set.

Yes they will. They will actually pull their tail feathers out as a safety measure to get away when they are threatened and held by the tail. It may take several months for the tail feathers to fully grow back, but probably within a month you'll see them starting to grow back.

Yes, they should grow back. Mostly birds molt two times a year (in which they get rid of old feathers and grow new ones), but if he picked the pulled ones there is a good chance he might pull the new ones too.

Yes, it is very likely that if the bird looses hes tail feathers, they will eventually grow back. I myself had a cockatiel that would loose hes tail feathers and they would eventually grow back. Dont worry

Tail feathers will grow back after being pulled out. Some birds drop their tail feathers as a defense mechanism if a predator tries to grab them by the tail.

Most likely they will. Birds molt (lose their feathers) once or twice a year so the tail feathers would be replaced naturally anyway.

My conure lost most of it's tail feathers after I accidently sat on his tail. They do grow back although your bird might feel depressed after this action.

Birds will generly grow back their tail. My IRN grew his 12 tailfeathers within 2 months.
