If FedEx needs a signature for a delivery and I'm not home, what happens?

Fed Ex leaves a note on your door and you will need to sign the note and put it back on the door, releaving them of possible theft. Or you can go to the Fed Ex depot and pick the package up at the time written on the note.

Fed Ex has a couple of options. They can leave you a note telling you the package was left next door with your neighbor. They can leave a note asking you to call them to arrange a time to deliver. Or you can pick it up at their location and they tell you where.

They will attempt to re-deliver again. You may also receive a call from them, at which time you can confirm your address or arrange to pick up the package.
