As with any standard chemical, there are some health risks. One could develop an allergic reaction because of the chemical. Though most won't have troubles, some people's bodies are different. The chemical could also react with another substance and cause health risks.

Health risks associated with diammonium phosphate are watering and swelling of the eyes and itching of the skin when exposed directly to diammonium phosphate.
