Is electrical engineering a good field for girls?

My female cousin is an engineer and she loves it. There is no career that is objectively good or bad for either gender. If it interests you, go for it.

It really depends on if you are really skillful and interested in those skills that are required by engineers. My dad was an engineeer. Engineering requires a particular mindset frame of reference and skills. These skills do not envolve glamour or looking good. But envolve rational thought, mathmatical skills and logically thinking through a problem step by step.

It varies from school to school, but there are a few initiatives at the moment that are encouraging women in technology. I know a few girls at my Uni received alot of sponsorships from companies to complete their courses.
