Is Ion hair dye a good product?

I have used the wash-in color product without developer, bought at Sally's Beauty Supply. Ion has little fragrance--big plus for me--and is gentle to the hair and scalp. Coverage of my 60% gray is excellent, and it lasts the advertised 6+ washes without much fading (it grows out by then,anyway).

Very good, high-end product, simply handle with care. I always use a pair of gloves when using hair dye. Ion will do a great job for you, you will be very happy with this product. I have used this product about 40 times over the years on both family and friends with great results.

it is a good product, but no better than the cheaper versions when it comes to at home dyes. Color silk is a good one for the money as well.

I love it, my hair looks and feels great and i only have to use it every two months where as i had to use store bought color every month, it last a really long time. Wonderful stuff !!

Yes, Ion hair dye is a very good product to use. I used it to color my hair about a year ago and it did not burn my head and my hair did not fall out either. My hair was dark and I colored it very, very light. It worked great, so I would recommend it.

Ion is not good. I used blonde and it turned my hair ginger. Don't use it!

I have not personally used ION products but, if it's from thre grocery store or local corner store I do not recommand it, if it is from Sally's Beauty Supply or a professional beauty supply then it should be good. I am professional hair stylist so becareful of box colors, they will only give you 2 levels of lift.

This is the brand that more expensive salons use so this product is top of the line. However, it is for use by professional hair care professionals to use, especially if your hair is already colored. Mixing your new color with the old might have adverse reactions such as unwanted color or discoloration in spots due to time applied.

Ion is one of the best for gray coverage on the market. It is rated in the top 5 by some.
