It is perfectly okay! Some women being to dilate weeks before giving birth, and some women don't experience any dilation until just before going into labor. Pregnancy dating is rarely exact, and many women do not give birth at exactly 40 weeks, so there is a lot of variance as far as when the body begins to prepare.

That is probably not anything to worry about. Some women do not begin to dilate until 40 weeks or even after.

Yes. It's fine. Some women don't dilate until they go into labor. Women who are pregnant with their first child are know to dilate especially late.

It is fine that you have not begun to dilate though if you have not begun the process within one to two weeks your obgyn may induce you.

There is nothing to be worried about, you will dilate when it is time and when your baby is ready to see you. The doctors and nurses can do things to help you dilate if you go over your due date. Remember that a due date is just an estimate.

Completely normal. Some people ovulate slowly over a period of weeks and some people ovulate just before they give birth.
