There is different aspects what makes a good browser. Speed, expandability, stability, memory consumption and so on. Tomshardware have an article comparing the five major browsers you might want to read up on. The title was "web browser grand prix". Also those programs are a work in progress so a new version might change how fast a browser is.

Browsers are like flavors of ice cream. People have strong opinions one way or another, although most are extremely similar. Overall Mozilla is a very good browser with good security, the ability to customize and great compatibility. Overall, try a few and find the browser that works for YOU.
