Is plasma screen burn still a problem?

While this has been reduced to newer and updated technology, the basic fundementals of the plasma screen television still makes this a known issue. This can also be an issue in LCD televisions as well. You can fix it by turning on snow for a few hours though.

To a much lesser degree it can still be a problem. If you examine larger sets more closely "burning" can still be seen.

Yes and no. Yes, they can be susceptible to burn-in, however most don't due to built in protection. Most plasma TVs today can continually move the image slightly (so slightly that it's imperceptible) to prevent a static image from burning in. It's much less of a big deal.
