crime

Question by  Proud (1)

Is there no redemption for a domestic felony?

What if the crime is BS? I served one year, and now the rest of my life is trash.

A felony remains on your record unless you can successfully petition the governor to set it aside. Generally, people are not imprisoned for "BS" so plan your approach carefully.

It is possible to have a felony removed from your record. This depends on the state in whihc you where convicted. Contact an attorney for help.

There is a chance that you could have the offense expunged from your record. That would involve contacting a lawyer and speaking with them about the nature and severity of your crime. If it is found that having it expunged is not an option for you then you could wait 10-20 years and have it sealed.
