Give it as much love and attention as possible, you can reintroduce other dogs very slowly in time and begin to train your dog that other dogs are not going to bite him and that he is now safe.

Find an animal behaviorist or vet that can assist you in figuring out ways to reduce your dog's stress and trauma. If the dog bite was serious, it may take a while for your dog to cooperate to treatment, but of course it is worth it in the end.

He is going to need a lot of reassurance while he recovers and gets over his fears. To get him used to other dogs again take him to the park or where there are other dogs on leashes. He will get used to being around dogs and won't be scared.

After being bit by another dog, your dog will need some time to feel confident again. Avoid putting your dog in a situation where that could happen again.

I would suggest keeping your dog away from other dogs or the total opposite: Expose him to dogs, gentle dogs.
