There is not a medically known exact number as finding such knowledge would be dangerously evasive. However it is known that alcohol does target slow brain cells first. Long term drinking has absolutely been shown to kill an expansive amount of brain cells and therefore a severe neurological deficit.

Since it is very difficult and unethical to do experiments and unnecessary tests on humans it is just conjecture how many brain cells are killed per drink. It is theorized that only the unnecessary and unused brain cells are destroyed first. So it takes years of drinking to notice damage.

Alcohol does not actually kill brain cells, when consumed responsibly. The notion that alcohol would damage ones' brain comes from the effects that alcohol can have when it fully cuts off circulation to the brain, which only happens when it is consumed in unhealthy quantities.

Alcoholic drinks in moderation do not kill brain cells; especially if you only imbibe one. Alcohol can impare judgements, but only for awhile (unless you drink several drinks). The body has ways of filtering the alcohol without loss of brain cells. Just do not over do it.

Drinking alcohol does not actually kill neurons (brain cells). Legal intoxication is reached when the alcohol concentration is 0.1%, compared to the 100% alcohol used to kill germs in sterilizing.

what I heard is one alcoholic drink kills about 500 neurons. I also heard that it will affect only slowest and weakest brain cells.

It is a wrong belief or a myth . Alcohol does not kill any brain cell. It just effect the function of the brain. Alcohol controls the messages that reach the brain. So limited consumption of alcohol does not harm the brain cell.

The is conflicting information on this subject. So believe, no, alcohol does not. Pure alcohol does indeed kill cells, but there's no evidence that drinking alcohol does.
