Some hair loss after a dog gives birth is normal for many dogs. You should still take your dog to the veterinarian (and her puppies) for a check up to make sure everything is going well. Hormonal changes can cause hair loss in a nursing bitch. However, ringworm, mange, and other diseases cause hair loss also.

It is not uncommon for hair loss to occur after pregnancy and they often will grow back in time. The stress of pregnancy and nursing is probably the main reason. A high quality diet should be fed during and after pregnancy to help the dog to recuperate and to provide nutrients for the puppies.

It depends on how warm the temperature is. Dogs just naturally shed when it is a little warmer or it is going to start to get warm

Dogs can experience hair loss after pregnancy. The hormone changes from giving birth would be the main reason why they would shed excess hair.

Some do some don't it is one of things it just all depends on the hormonal changes and the stress of the labor and delivery and the size of the litter. If it takes alot out of her physically then she may experience some hair loss due to the amount of nutrition she needs to replace.
