That is a very personal thing and depends on your situation. Is there a lot of preexisting money on hand on either side? In that case it might be a wise idea to do so just in case. If you go through a divorce at a later point it would be a lot easier.

Pre-Nup is something that protects you from financial losses due to a device if that were the case. It's only good if you have something to protect and it's over rated. If there was a child involved, no matter how the pre-nup is set up, there still would be child support due.

If you have a lot of assets, I would highly recommend getting a pre-nup, otherwise, you could lose everything you own.

This is a tricky question. They are very useful in case of a divorce, but they show a lack of trust and faith. There is no set answer to this.

If you have to get a pre-nup in order to marriage, you more than likely don't trust that person and should reconsider. Having a pre-nup automatically shows lack of trust.
