There is really no need unless you have very severe symptoms and it won't go down again. High blood pressure is often a normal reaction (to stress or anxiety you might otherwise be unaware of) or a chronic condition, in which case just consult your doctor within regular office hours.

Yes you really should go to an emergency room for high blood pressure because it can become dangerous if you dont.

This depends on how high your blood pressure is, and what your systolic blood pressure averages. Typically, you should see a doctor for any systolic (the top number on a reading) blood pressure which is staying about 140.

If your blood pressure is blurring your vision or causing a head ache that will not stop, go to the Emergency Room to get it down because this risks a stroke or heart attack. If the blood pressure is high but not causing symptoms, see a doctor. If pregnant and its high, go to the ER now.

It depends on how high it is and if you take blood pressure medication. Other considerations would be if you have diabetes.

It depends on how high your blood pressure is, if it is extremly high and you are in danger of a stroke then yes, otherwise just visit your Doctor.
