If you have no other way to have it treated, or the pain is enough to limit your normal activity, then yes.

No, this is not an emergency. You should call your doctor or do to a med center, if the doctor is not available. People use the emergency room for non emergency conditions and then complain that they did not get waited on fast. I med center will cure this.

yes you should go to the emergency room for a abscess because you dont know how bad it is or how bad it could get, Also they will tell you if you have to go to the dentist or not. Also just in case you dont know whats wrong you should go.

An abscess, by definition, is a collection of pus at a site of trauma or infection. They can be anywhere, from the surface of your skin to your organs, and as with any medical issue, should be seen by a medical professional as soon as possible.

Yes, if emergency dental care is not quickly available. An abscess can progress to the point of becoming a systemic infection that can kill.
