They are small pieces of plastic or metal attached to the backs of your two front teeth. They are used to prevent your mouth from closing all the way. They are mostly used on orthodontic patients to prevent the top and bottom braces from coming into contact with each other or getting stuck.

Bite turbos are devices that are temporarily bonded to your teeth to help open up your bite. They are usually placed on the back of the teeth for anywhere from four to six months. Typically it is a painless procedure.

When upper braces and bottom braces connect with each other this could lead to breakage of the braces. Bite turbos basically keep your bottom teeth and upper teeth from touching each other and Bite Turbos are little pieces place near the upper front part of your teeth and serves as sort of buffer between your upper and bottom braces.

Small, wedge-shaped metal pieces that get glued behind your front teeth to prevent your teeth from fully closing and damaging your braces. Hopefully temporary since they prevent chewing much.

Usually bite turbos are like using a night guard and you wear it at night time so that you do not grind your teeth. It helps with headaches, TMJ, and other dental problems.

Bite Turbos are platform like objects placed in your mouth. These objects correct your bite when you bite down. They help correct your bite. It is a remporary way to prevent you from biting all of the way down to help correct your bite. They are removed when your orthodontist thinks it is best.

Bite turbos are normally recommended in orthodontics to open the bite. In patients who have deep bite, the braces constantly come in contact with the opposite teeth and may become damaged. These are generally placed behind the upper front teeth and are temporary. Once the initial tooth movement is initiated it is removed after 6-12 months.
