To extract an ingrown hair, you'll want to exfoliate the area regularly and apply warm compresses (to draw the hair up through the skin's surface).

Soak the area to soften skin and exfoliate with a scrub or make your own with sea salt and olive oil or sugar and cold cream or lotion. Then, carefully free and remove hairs with a pair of tweezers. Regular exfoliation will help cut down on them in the future.

Whenever I get an ingrown hair, I take a hot shower, exfoliate the area, and apply a hot compress after I've dried off. If that doesn't help the hair surface, I rub a pair of tweezers in hydrogen peroxide and pick it out.

The best way to get rid of them is to take some steps before they happen. I would reccomend using a lotion regluarly and they shouldnt show up anymore
