Do you consider me cured? What is my chance and percentage of having a re-occurrence? What are my chances of having a different type of cancer somewhere else in my body? Will I need additional chemotherapy? How often do I continue to see you? How often do I have screenings to make sure that the cancer is not re-occurring?

After 5 years of remission, things look rather well but you may want to ask your doctor if diet could prevent cancer from recurring, what other factors could assist in the continue remission of your cancer, what are the chances of the cancer returning?

You could ask what are normal chances of the cancer coming back. Or you could ask are you at a higher risk to get cancer somewhere else. How about is the treatment as effective if cancer does come back.

What is the probability my cancer may come back and what can we do to lower those chances? How will we monitor for cancer recurrence?
