If you've had the surgery, chances are your doctor has prescribed physical therapy. Check with the therapist for the needed and proper exercises. The advise of a professional is needed.

After knee replacement, your top priority should be regaining range of motion. Start slowly with light weight exercises that strengthen the knee's surrounding muscles. The vastus medialis is the most important muscle for knee stabilization.
