Normal testosterone level depends on your age. In the study of Vermeulen (1996) the highest testosterone levels were registered in subjects of 35-44 years: 23.14 nmol/L with standard deviation 7.36.

The normal testosterone levels can be determined by looking at one's energy level. In metric terms, it varies significantly based on gender. A male in his twenties can have up to twenty times of that of a woman's. For this reason, it is most important to look at the gender then apply the usual metric term.
