Vicoden can cause sedation, somnolence, and dizziness. It also may cause stomach upset and vomiting. Patients should use caution when operating heavy machinery as Vicoden may impair judgement. Vicoden contains tylenol which can cause liver damage. Allergic type reactions and rashes can also be experienced in patients taking Vicoden. Patients may also experience itching.

Vicoden is a narcotic and common side effects includes drowsiness, dizziness or lightheadedness, nausea and vomiting. Other serious side effects may be stomach pain, fatigue, jaundice, low blood pressure, hallucination, decreased appetite, hearing loss, sweating, decreased urination, bleeding, constipation, dry mouth, muscle twitching. It may lead to liver damage. It is also habit forming.

You will be light headed, Nauseated , You will have a dry mouth and be a bit unsteady on your feet. The good news is that the more pain your in the less side effects you have.
