Rabbits do have a social order. For instance the dominate rabbit may mount other subordinates. There is a grooming ritual among rabbits where the subordinates will groom the dominate rabbit but will get nothing in return. Some dominate rabbits may chew off the whiskers of other rabbits leaving them with very short whiskers.

A dominant rabbit may sometimes nip or hump the other sub-dominant rabbits. You may even notice him putting his head down to indicate he wants to be groomed.

The most easiest way to tell dominance in rabbits is to watch them. The dominant rabbit will mount the weaker one. It is not a sexual act but a way of showing there power. Also until this is occuring a lot of fighting will be happening between them so becareful.
