Feline incontinence can be caused by a number of conditions including feline diabetes, lower urinary tract problems such as infection, bladder stones or tumor, and dementia in an older cat.

The most common reason would be a feline lower urinary tract infection, but if your cat has had a recurring problem, their bladder may be unable to hold the urine.
