Miniature pinchers can suffer from skin disorders due to allergies to many things, from grass to pollen, to corn in their food. They can also suffer from a mild form of dog acne. Skin irritation can also come from flea bites which can cause severe itching, causing the dog to scratch and chew.

The only common skin disorder I found with minpins is alopecia, or Sebaceous Adenitis- it is probably inherited, usually only cosmetic, and may be treated with thyroid medications, or anti-seborrhea shampoos and dietary supplements. Anything other than this may be nutritionally caused, parasites or mites.

The biggest skin disorder stems from food allergies. Always make sure you are feeding a high quality food without any corn, which a lot of dogs tend to be allergic to.
