Gaylord Perry is a former five time All-Star who pitched in the Major Leagues. Many players and fans believed that Gaylord Perry threw a "spit ball" and relished getting inside the minds of opposing team's hitters.Perry pitched for nine different Major League teams during his career. Gaylord Perry was elected to the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1991.

Gaylord Perry is a five-time Major League Baseball All-Star. He won the Cy Young award in each league. Gaylord won the award for the American League in 1978 with the San Diego Padres. He wields a well respected pitching style others have tried to copy over the years. He was also ejected from the game for illegal practice in 1982.
