What are some fish that are compatible with goldfish?

No tropical fish are compatible with goldfish really. Although Corys can get along fine, however they do prefer warmer water. White cloud minnows are a good contrast to goldfish and snails work as well. I've heard hillstream loaches are acceptable. Don't mix fancy types with common for goldfish.

Not compatible with tropical fish, goldfish will do well with other goldfish like themselves, best. They don't need a heater and prefer cooler water. Corys are a type of catfish and can be included, as well as White Cloud minnows as long as the goldfish doesn't outgrow the minnows.

Any non aggressive fish will work with a goldfish really. Many people lieke guppies or neon tetras or even Ram Cichlids.

Weather Loaches are really the only fish compatible with goldfish. Goldies can be compatible, however they have a tendency to gather food faster and leave less for other fish.

Gold fish is a soft type and it will not lovse without its company.Some other fish are cat fish,tiger fish,angel fish,salamon,kurrah and any other fish that is friendly in nature and adapt itself in the acquarium or the fish tank you have.But it is better to keep the gold fish away from aggrasives fish.

Weather loaches will tolerate cold water,snails,crabs and dwarf crabs are good additions with Goldfish and a fish that is readily available are the Zebra Danio's which co-exist well with goldfish.However Goldfish produce a lot of waste so it is important when adding other fish that your tank is large enough to cope.

Goldfish should be kept together because they do not need an aquarium heater, their food is specialized to them, and they can harm the water chemistry needed by tropicals. Any variety is okay together, but fantails are slower and may be nipped. That said, you can often add Cory catfish of any variety.

You could try guppies and any sucker fish. Crabs are also compatible with goldfish. Catfish are also an excellent choice. Tetras are another option for sharing space with a goldfish.

Any fish that are not aggressive at all can be put in the same jar as a goldfish. I think nemo fish will also be okay. You can also put white cloud fish in them. They should be fine. Basically just go for some fish that will not put the goldfish at risk.
