What are some reasons a fuel fuse will blow?

Can they get surges?

A fuse will blow when current passing through it exceeds its rated value. It is designed to protect the the rest of the electronic components. If they are regularly blowing, it is a sign that something is surging current into the system and could be a symptom of a greater problem.

Most likely it would be the fuel relay underneath that would surge. A wire in the fuse could be pinched or it could have shorted.
