I would try the Grotto on Bowdoin Street for a cozy Italian venue with a selection of authentic dishes. Make a reservation and I would recommend going before the rush to ensure good service and ambiance. Or, Pigalle on Main Street for a more modern feel. Be sure to reserve a table as well.

I would check out either Olive Garden or Red Lobster. Olive Garden offers a very romantic Italian feel. If you are of age, enjoy a glass of wine!

Take a stroll over to the North End, which is Boston's Little Italy. You'll find several locally own, family-operated bistros, cafes and restaurants with superb daily menus. Some of these eateries are casual, others are dressy, but all are romantic.

Well I don't think any of the restaurants can classify as romantic. The best thing to do would be to take her downtown and pick a classy restaurant.
