Mother will love anything their kids make, you can't go wrong! A good idea would be to trace their hands on a piece of paper, then, have them write what they like about their mom inside. They can also color bouquets of flowers, or make flowers with tissue paper and construction paper.

Make a paper flower and attach it to a paper stem the can accordian down, have that coming out of a paper pot. On the flower put their picture and on the stem you can write "I love my mommy".

Cards are always thoughtful and relatively easy to make with colored paper, ribbon, stickers, etc. You can also have a photograph and have them decorate a picture frame to put it in.
