Memorizing plays can be hard but if you do each sentence seperate you shouldn't have any problems. Memorize the first part then go to the second part. Once you memorize the second part then read the first part the seceond part and so on. The biggest thing is lots of practice.

Practice is the best strategy. Read it over and over. Practice with your partner to learn the part in context. Try writing out the dialogue and see how well you remember it. Picture yourself in the role, playing the part, saying the lines. Bring your part with you so you can read it while waiting in line!

I generally begun by going line by line reading all of my parts out loud by page. I then start over at the top of the page and read each line out loud twice then I place the paper down and repeat the line without looking.
