What are some uses for citric acid in plants?

Citric acid is present in most plants. It has a sour taste and is used in candies, foods, and drinks. Carbohydrates ferment in lime, pineapple, and lemon juice and is used in flavorings and citrates. Food in metal containers sometimes have citric acid added to improve stability.

There really aren't a whole lot of uses for it the only plants you can really use it with acid loving plants.

Citric acid will help to solve problems like root pruning. Citric acid helps to chelate minerals that are found in the soil. It will make the minerals for uptake and for use of plants. Overall we will get acidifying benefits with citric acid.

there are some uses for citric acid in plants ,they can prepare their food by photosynthesis so citric acid will help in increasing the life span of plants.
