What are the basics of inheritance laws in Canada?

My father passed away, and I've heard that inheritance laws are tricky in Canada. What do I need to know? Will I need a lawyer?

Laws are so complex even in the modern world. So my humble request is to consult a lawyer with the necessary documents. It is the best solution for you to solve the issue.

This depends on whether the person who passed left anything in place. If there was a will or trusts set up then it will most likely be less complex.
